政府は、COVID-19陽性症例に対する7日間の強制隔離を維持することを決定しました。

アイシャ・ヴェラル保健大臣は、症状がない人や軽症の人を対象に、7日間よりも早く職場に復帰させるためのテストが、この冬の労働力への影響を減らすための安全で効果的なモデルになり得るかどうかについては、内閣がさらなる研究を求めていると述べています。

「低リスク、軽症、無症状の症例に対する職場復帰のためのルールは、この冬、一部の職場にかかる負担を軽減するのに役立つでしょう」

ヴェラル保健大臣は、今後2ヶ月以内に、この件に関するアドバイスを検討すると付け加えました。

政府は、来るべき冬に備えて医療システムを整備するため、グリーンリストの「ストレート・トゥ・レジデンス」経路に、新たに32の医療部門の役割を追加することを発表しました。

クリス・ヒプキンス首相は、グリーンリストの変更は、約7週間後の5月29日から適用が開始されると述べています。

グリーンリストは、昨年5月に発表されたもので、充填が困難な85の高技能職を対象に、永住権への優先的な道筋を提供するものです。
